Summer!

 Summer is here!

The sun is shining, 

the tourists have started to invade our little island

and this afternoon I'm welcoming my first guests at Muramaris!

This is the very first summer I'll be spending entirely on Gotland.

Anything else would just be wrong :)

I turn it off!

FINALLY an infographic and campaign about the enormously wasteful habit of leaving your engine running while you're not actually driving.

Something that has pissed me off for as long as I can remember will maybe finally die off and disappear!

Hello Health!

This is not a commercial - I (unfortunately) am not paid to write this blogpost - 

but this beast of a machine has been on my wish list for quite a while ...

and now she's mine!

Meet Judy the juicer & the first drinks she produced :)

Since the day was started on such a healthy note, 

we just continued with a kick-ass salad (partly home-grown) ...

... and finished with a disney movie & a healthy amount of chocolate :D

A Warm House

No house is complete without

3. a space for long and elaborate breakfasts

4. a proper housewarming with good food and ever better people!

I've left my little student room for the summer and will be spending the next 2 months here.

Dreams

Today was the opening of Gotlands Museum's newest exhibition: 

"Muramaris - to create one's dream" - about the place and its creators.

I can't begin to describe how magical it feels that I am now creating my own dream 

at the exact same place, roughly 100 years later.
